I am a native Spanish speaker and was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. I first came to the U.S. on a high school soccer and language exchange program when I was 15 and then earned a full ride to play soccer at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. While there, I had the chance to go up against Sounder’s Clint Dempsey in my college division matches (before he was any good).
I am now in my fourth year as the Controller at the WTIA and have enjoyed watching this organization and the tech community grow. Although a proud Venezuelan, I am now a devoted Seattleite and when I’m not crunching numbers, I can be found playing on numerous soccer leagues, snowboarding, hiking, riding my road bike, and trying out every brewery and pizza place in town.
