Matt AustinMatt oversees Apprenti’s legal affairs, training providers, curricula, and related projects. He has studied and worked in and alongside the technology and engineering space for over 15 years. Previously, Matt served as the Assistant Director for the University of Washington’s Department of Applied Mathematics, principally its Computational Finance and Risk Management program. Matt’s background spans negotiating and managing IP licensing agreements for the University of California, as well as related law practice on behalf of public interest nonprofits focusing on human services and economic development. His research and teaching interests center around technology development for legal, compliance, and risk management issues. Matt holds a Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University.
