Building the Tech Talent Pipeline in Delaware and the Philadelphia Region
Tech Impact and Tech Hire Delaware, together with the Delaware IT Industry Council, are working to develop and attract new talent to the region.
As one of the fastest growing regions in the US, there is a strong demand for IT talent in disciplines like software development, cybersecurity, networking, cloud technologies and support positions. Banking, financial services, pharmaceuticals, and health care are just some of the industries looking for skilled IT workers.
Apprenti Delaware and Greater Philadelphia Region, led by Tech Impact, understands that talent solutions must address both demand and supply issues and set goals at the intersection of both. Our work begins by deeply understanding the needs of employers; and our model is implicitly demand-driven but supply-focused. This means that our workforce development objectives are grounded in filling jobs that employers need but are also thoughtfully aligned with our mission to tap and develop new pools of talent to meet these needs. Diversity and inclusion are the keystones of that mission.
To be part of the talent employers are seeking – experience in IT is not required; just grit, professionalism, and the passion to learn new technologies. Take the first step towards your new career by registering here.
