About The Initiative

Apprenti is a national nonprofit offering Registered Apprenticeships to help organizations address digital skills shortages. We work with tribes, employers, and educators to connect individuals from underrepresented backgrounds—including tribal members—with in-demand, well-paying tech careers. Our program focuses on providing training and career opportunities tailored to the unique needs of tribal communities.

Advisory Board Responsibilities

As an Advisory Board member, you will:

Share insights to ensure programs meet the specific workforce needs of tribal businesses.
Advocate for tech apprenticeships to support economic mobility for tribal members.
Support Economic Growth: Help tribal businesses, including casinos, banks, and utilities, build local expertise in IT and cybersecurity.
Tailor Programs to Your Needs: Provide input on training programs that align with the workforce demands of your community.
Strengthen Partnerships: Collaborate with other tribal leaders, educators, and employers to expand apprenticeship opportunities.
Empower Your Members: Create pathways for tribal members to secure well-paying tech careers without leaving their community.

Our Impact in Tribal Communities
